Frequently asked questions

How does pre-approval work?

Apply online without choosing a vehicle. Then, as a separate step, you can give the dealership handling your request permission to send your application to lenders (lenders may check your credit). When a lender responds, you'll see the amount, the lender, the expiry date and any conditions in your account, and you can shop vehicles within that amount. Approval isn't guaranteed.

Does submitting my application allow a credit check?

No. Submitting only shares your application with one dealership. Sending it to lenders needs your separate permission, which names that dealership, lasts 30 days, and can be withdrawn from your account.

Is a pre-approval a final approval?

No. It's a lender's conditional decision. The final amount and terms depend on verifying your information, the vehicle you choose, taxes, fees, and any down payment or trade-in.

I started on my computer. Can I use my phone for photos?

Yes. In the Documents step, choose “Use my phone” and scan the code with your phone's camera. Photos you take go straight to your application. The phone link expires after 20 minutes and can only add files.

Do I need an account?

No. You can browse and apply for pre-approval with just your name, email and phone. Your application is saved in that browser. Create a free account (just a password) if you want to come back on other devices, upload documents, or hear from the dealership securely. Your application moves into the account automatically.

Does applying affect my credit?

Applying online doesn't run a credit check. If a dealership needs to check your credit, they'll explain why and ask for your separate permission first.

Is submitting an application an approval?

No. Submitting sends your information to one dealership so they can contact you. It isn't a credit approval and doesn't reserve a vehicle.

Who sees my application?

Only the one dealership shown on the review screen before you submit (or, if you didn't choose one, our group's customer team, who will assign one and tell you). Your information isn't sold or sent to multiple dealerships.

Can I pick up at a different location?

Yes, you can choose a preferred pickup dealership. If the vehicle is elsewhere, staff confirm whether it can be moved, the expected timing, and any fee before anything is promised. Transfers aren't guaranteed to be immediate or free.

What if the vehicle I chose sells?

Your application is kept. You'll be able to pick another vehicle or describe what you're looking for.

What documents might I need?

It depends on the dealership's process. Commonly: a driver's licence, proof of income and proof of address. You can take photos with your phone and upload them securely.

How are my documents protected?

Files are stored privately, checked before anyone can open them, and only available to you and the dealership handling your request. We never send documents by email.

I've had credit challenges. Can I still apply?

Yes, you're welcome to apply. We can't promise any outcome, but the dealership will talk through what options may be available.

Do you operate outside Alberta?

Not yet. We're starting in Alberta.
