Financing
Financing, explained plainly
Get pre-approved first, then shop
Apply once without choosing a vehicle. When you're ready, give the dealership handling your request permission to send it to lenders (a separate step, because lenders may check your credit). When a lender responds, you'll see the amount, the lender, how long it lasts and any conditions in your account. Then browse vehicles that fit.
Apply at your own pace
Start online, save your progress, and come back any time. Take photos of documents with your phone, even if you started on a computer.
Talk to a person
A dealership finance team member reviews what you've shared, works with lenders and contacts you about options and next steps.
Decide with full information
Any pre-approval, rate or term comes from a lender after review. You're never committed by applying online.
If you've had credit challenges
Many people shop for a vehicle after a hard stretch: a new job, a past bankruptcy or consumer proposal, a thin credit history, or being new to Canada. You're welcome here. You can share context in your application if you'd like to, and the dealership will explain what options may be available.
We can't promise approval, specific rates, or credit repair, and we won't. Decisions are made by lenders and dealerships after review.
What applying online does
- Sends what you've entered to the one dealership you agree to, at the moment you submit.
- Lets you upload documents securely if the dealership asks for them.
- Shows your progress and the name of the dealership helping you.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't run a credit check. Lenders only see your application after you give separate permission.
- It isn't an approval and doesn't reserve a vehicle.
- It never asks for your SIN, banking passwords or card details.
